On May 16, landowners and members of the ClearWater community joined ecologist Suzy Yetter, foresters, and wildlife biologists at Joel's Woods for the Sustainable Forest Management Field Tour and learned more about increase the value and long-term sustainability of private forests for timber, wildlife, water quality, diversity, conservation of rare species.
Everyone had a great time exploring the land, meeting one another, and learning more about forest ecosystems, forest management, while experiencing the natural beauty of one of our own PA forest areas.
